Having yoga at work helps improve employee productivity, creativity and mental clarity, all the while reducing the number of sick days and improving morale. In this current economic environment, it is more important than ever that employees have the tools necessary to manage stress and heavier than normal workloads. So many people are caught between long hours at the office and time spent with their families. With such demands on their schedules, physical activity is often the first thing to go. But being less active can actually make meeting those demands even more difficult. After awhile being too sedentary, your mind and body fatigue easily, leaving you with less overall energy to give to your job, your family and yourself! Yoga in the workplace is a convenient and smart way to keep a balanced life and fit in a workout, without ever leaving the premises.

By collaborating the needs and goals of your staff, Farah can put together a complete holistic program either as a course of regular weekly classes or as individual workshops. To get started all you need is a group of 10 people and a large, quiet, clear space – it could be a board meeting cleared of tables and chairs, or in warmer months, a quiet grassy area outside on the premises.


Classes can be conducted anytime across the working day, but most popular are sessions at lunchtime and immediately after work. Classes are offered in a 30-90 minute formats and are adjusted for students of all levels. Classes are most effective when run in a series of once or twice a week for a minimum of 8 weeks. Cost can be divided between the employer and employee or fully funded by the employer.


Students find that bringing yoga into the workday is a wonderful way to rejuvenate and release pent-up stress caused by a hectic schedule and bring balance to the working environment. The vibrant energy and sense of calm created with yoga in the workplace can further resonate into all aspects of your daily life.
